Yoshihiro Saito began its career in music composition in the late 1980s, producing music for Japanese record company such as Sony Music and avex trax. Achieved notable success with a three-member group that entered the Oricon charts and secured the top spot on the environmental music chart. In the mid-2000s, started programming and established EXDREAM Corporation in November 2013. Began working as an AI (machine learning) researcher in 2016 and received the Best Thesis Award from the Business Breakthrough University for the graduation thesis that same year.

In 2017, opened CANPLAY, Japan’s first AI academy where students can learn about AI through music. In October 2019, composed a commercial song and developed AI for KIOXIA (formerly Toshiba Memory). In March 2020, taught AI courses at the Attacker’s Business School, founded by Kenichi Ohmae, and also undertook the production of interactive music for a Mitsubishi Estate theme park.

In 2021, published a book titled “Magenta” through Ohmsha, which provides an explanation of AI composition using Python programming for music generation. From 2022, has been teaching music technology at the Tokyo School of Music and Dance. began developing LLMs in 2023.

In 2024, released Exeed, an intelligent interactive news media platform, and JPtalk, a conversational AI service for learning Japanese.
